And they all came crawling back, saying, "I’m so sorry." Yeah, he was great. He was being bombarded with all that crap before they had seen one single scene, which is an indicator of how important Bond is, but also how insane it is sometimes. In both he has his man-bits battered carpet beater in the book and knotted rope in the film. Every single day on his way to work, he read a headline saying he sucks his nose was wrong he was blond. While the way Le Chiffre tortures Bond is different, there are similarities in both the book and the 2006 version Bond is strapped naked to a chair with the seat cut out. I cannot imagine what he was going through, because it’s like the crown jewels of England. At the same time, I was new, but they were not talking about the new villain they were talking about the new Bond. The 2006 Casino Royale film wasnt even about poker to my young eyes: it was about explosions, car chases, machine guns with bottomless magazines, tailored. ![]() So in those terms, we felt we were on to something that might be great. A crescendo leading up to a peak and then the nerves are blunted and react progressively less until unconsciousness and death. He knew that the beginning of torture is the worst.
